We are looking for someone who has obtained Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent; and two (2) years of grounds maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

- ** Schedule: Monday-Friday from 6am-2:30pm**:

- ** Location**:Will support both campuses, but could be located at either the Liberal Arts Campus (LAC) or Pacific Coast Campus (PCC)
- ** Salary**:Range 22 $4,150.16 - $5,095.09
- ** Eligibility list: Will be valid for 12 months **once approved or ratified by the Personnel Commission. We reserve the right to use the established eligibility list for vacancies (permanent and temporary) in this classification as well as related classifications.
- ** Advanced salary placement**: Generally, new employees start at the first step on the salary schedule. Advanced salary placement may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

**Duties**:
Under general supervision, performs skilled and semi-skilled duties in the maintenance of grounds, athletic fields and other landscaped areas; installs, repairs and maintains irrigation systems for landscaped areas; and performs related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION**:
**Education, Training and Experience**:Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent; and two (2) years of grounds maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

**Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements**:
May require a valid California driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under the District’s vehicle insurance policy.
