**Overview**:
KH Security Inc. provides best in class security services for businesses and industries around the Chicagoland area. Our qualified, well-trained and seasoned guards are second to none. With over 10 years experience, our company is devoted to professional service as we provide public safety and protection for your needs.

We are looking for security guards to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

**Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer skills**

**Must have a valid Perc Card and 20 hours training certificate**

**Available Shifts**:
**3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:30am**

**Responsibilities & Requirements**:

- **Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security measures**:

- **Check all state identification cards to ensure all guest are 21+**:

- **Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner**:

- **Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.**:

- **Must have a valid Perc Card and 20 hours training certificate.**:

- **Must have excellent customer service skills**:

- **Must be able to stand and patrol around premises to complete daily rounds.**:

- **Escorts guests, visitors, and employees to the correct destination in the facility**:

- **Assist with crowd control**:

- **Provides internal/external patrol of buildings and surrounding property**:

- **Locks and unlocks doors to permit entry at appropriate times**:

- **Checks buildings and work areas when not open for business**:

- **Monitors camera's, alarm systems, access control and admits appropriate personnel per authorized staff lists**:

- **Conducts ongoing inspections of buildings and grounds to detect safety violations and hazards**:

- **Prepares accurate and complete written reports**

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a security officer preferred, but not required.
- Officers work independently and under indirect supervision
- Officers are required to maintain daily contact with a wide range of people including guests, and employees
- Must hold proper license based on state/local regulations
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Requires frequent standing, sitting, and walking
- Must be able to work - days, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays as required by location

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.25 per hour
