**GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

The Manager, Revenue Operations (Lab) manages the accounts receivable function of patient accounts to maximize reimbursement and develops new processes to provide service excellence in compliance with DaVita policies and federal and state billing regulations. This position also provides management leadership and oversight to teammate performance to the patient accounting team. This position has budget accountability. This position reports to the Director, Revenue Operations (Lab).***

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manages Revenue Operations processes to ensure that both internal and external expectations and standards are met through established policy and procedures to ensure that revenue and accounts receivable recognition is accurate and timely. Maintains a current and thorough understanding of ESRD and/or healthcare reimbursement and industry standards; monitor payment trends; escalates issues, concerns, and changes in payor behavior reporting, as appropriate, to Director. Ensures alignment with corporate initiatives.
- Establishes and measures key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensures department meets established goals and deadlines. Ensure the department has the tool and resources to facilitate the process and delivery of established goals and service excellence
- Maintains a working knowledge of the A/R system; proactively identify and seek enhancements to software, hardware, processes, or procedures to maximize revenue collection. Focus on ensuring accurate billing and facilitate the collection of revenue and financial month-end close.
- Ensures that all health information management practices comply with HIPPA guidelines and SOX regulations. Maintains current and thorough knowledge of related reimbursement operations issues and trends.
- Establishes and manages departmental budget.
- Other duties as assigned by management

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- 2-4 years experience needed
- High School Diplomat required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in an analytical and leadership role may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience healthcare reimbursement required
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required; intermediate skills in MS Word and Outlook required
- Knowledge of healthcare accounts receivable systems required
