**Position**: Purchasing Officer
**Location**: 14959 Salt Lake Ave, City of Industry, CA 91746
**Language Requirement**: Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is essential
**Responsibilities**:
- **Sourcing and Procurement**:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in Asia for food products.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions for the company.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Conduct quality inspections of food products to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Address any quality issues with suppliers and work towards resolutions.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to optimize inventory turnover.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness.
- **Market Research and Analysis**:
- Stay updated on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities in the food industry.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities for product expansion and growth.
**Requirements**:
- Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, with proficiency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
