Practice Lead/Medical Assistant
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the daily operations of a busy medical and cosmetic dermatology practice, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Utilize policies and procedures to improve practice efficiency and productivity
- Utilize ModMed (EMA) or similar software to manage patient records and appointments
- Collaborate with provider team to ensure quality patient care and client satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation and billing
- Proactively engage with Teammates, assisting as needed with front office (Reception) or back office (Medical Assistant) needs
- Support clinicians as needed
**Skills**:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of dermatology operations and procedures a plus
- Proficiency in utilizing practice management software (e.g., ModMed (EMA)
- Familiarity with outreach and marketing to improve referral sources
- Understanding of billing and coding processes
At our dermatology practice, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to all of our patients. As the Practice Lead/Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. You will oversee the daily activities, manage staff, implement policies, and maintain efficient systems. If you have a passion for ermatology and possess strong leadership skills, we invite you to join our team.
Pay: $23.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
