Accounts Receivable Analyst

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Process and maintain precise records of incoming payments
- Send Statement of Accounts to customers
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Prepare and issue credit notes/debit notes
- Contact customers to ensure payment of outstanding invoices
- Follow up with customers regarding past-due accounts
- Work closely with Customer Service and Warehouse Dept. regarding accuracy of billings to customers
- Investigate and secure proper/complete documentation and approval of credits/deductions
- Run AR aging report with updated notes on the status of critical accounts
- Manage and calculate brokers' commissions
- Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits
- Other duties:
- Help in month-end close by creating journal entries related to AR and posting to ERP system (ROSS)
- Help in admin work such as answering and directing incoming calls and sorting incoming mails (as needed)
- Back up to AP Analyst (as needed)
- Back up to Customer Service (as needed)

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and concepts
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work alone and/or as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Strong computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel, Vlookup, Pivot table)

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Associate degree in Business or 1 year experience in AR (B2B environment)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance (preferred)
- Experience using ERP software & vendors/ customers portals & platforms (preferred)
