**Urgent Care Veterinary Receptionist**

Ohana Pet Hospital is looking for an experienced Veterinary receptionist to join the growing team at our brand-new location Our two-site facility is adding a third sister-hospital which will focus on daytime urgent care and dentistry. Our team will be developed and trained starting at our Ventura and Santa Paula locations, both AAHA accredited hospitals boasting outstanding medicine and team culture.

We specialize in providing compassionate care and the highest-quality medical, surgical, dental and wellness health care for dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and select reptiles. We have 12 doctors (and growing) amongst our two current locations and are looking for compassionate people to continue growing our amazing team.

**This role involves a Full-time, 4-10 or 5-8 schedule comprised of shifts occurring between Mon-Fri, with daytime hours between 8 am -6 pm. Our three skilled managers, including RVTs and RVT trainers, support our team between all locations. There will be an opportunity to work between multiple locations or focus on urgent care, based on interest and skillset.**

As our next receptionist, you will be critical to our hospital team by establishing a great first impression to clients, providing visitors a warm welcome, and ensuring our day-to-day hospital flow runs smoothly. Those best fit for the role are positive, compassionate, and proactive individuals who love making a difference in the lives of pets and establishing long-term relationships with their owners.
- Ability and drive to multi-task in a fast-paced, urgent care environment
- Dependable, enthusiastic, hardworking, honest, and team orientated individual
- Strong work ethic and ability to jump in and help where needed
- Ability to provide the gold standard of medicine and client communication
- Long-term commitment to the veterinary field
- Familiarity (or experience with) Cornerstone is a plus

**Primary skills and responsibilities**:

- Providing first class client communication and education
- Booking appointments
- Daily assignments/scheduling
- Checking clients in and out
- Answering client questions and concerns
- Scanning, copying, typing/other general office duties
- Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
- Liaising between clients and technical team
