Veterinary Receptionist

Ohana Pet Hospital, an AAHA Accredited companion animal practice with a location in Ventura and Santa Paula, has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.

We specialize in providing compassionate care and the highest-quality medical, surgical, dental and wellness health care for dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, and select reptiles. We have 12 doctors amongst our two locations (Ventura and Santa Paula) and are looking for compassionate people to join our amazing team. All applicants must have excellent communication skills, be dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented with a passion to grow personally and professionally.

We are looking to hire a full-time role 4-10s or 5-8s, Monday - Saturday.

**Responsibilities**:
As our next receptionist, you will be critical to our hospital team by establishing a great first impression to clients, providing visitors a warm welcome, and ensuring our day-to-day hospital flow runs smoothly. Those best fit for the role are positive, compassionate, and proactive individuals who love making a difference in the lives of pets and establishing long-term relationships with their owners.

**Primary skills and responsibilities**:

- **Willingness to travel to both locations**:

- Providing first class client communication and education
- Booking appointments
- Daily assignments/scheduling
- Checking clients in and out
- Answering client questions and concerns
- Scanning, copying, typing/other general office duties
- Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
- Liaising between clients and technical team

**Experience**:

- Veterinary experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
