The Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) will be responsible for supporting the company’s global health economics, reimbursement, and market access strategy. This role will collaborate closely with the Director and VP of HE&R, Senior Leadership, Sales, and Marketing team members to develop and deliver the reimbursement strategy and support for our therapies in interactions with customers. Other support responsibilities could include leading direct payor advocacy strategies, evidence planning and strategy, and constructing health economic tools.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION**:

- The Field Reimbursement Manager, will represent AtriCure HE&R with major cross-functional teams at the customer level and strengthen reimbursement and market access strategies; and include the following:

- Provide reimbursement support for customers to expand adoption across all therapeutic product lines, including working closely with customer reimbursement hotline;
- Present to a variety of stakeholders, including physicians, hospital C-Suite, service line leadership, purchasing / materials management staff, and billing/coding staff;
- Deliver materials for hospital C-Suite, value analysis committees, service line directors, billing/coding staff, and other value purchasers;
- Help identify physicians to assist with reimbursement or payor coverage policy revisions;
- Cultivate relationships with key hospital administrators and payor organizations;
- Serve as a strategic business partner with field sales leadership to develop and deliver value messaging during quarterly business reviews;
- Partner closely with US sales organization to support regional and national sales meetings;
- Capture customer interactions in a CRM system to track touchpoint activity across multiple endeavors and departments;
- Support policy efforts through participation in specialty society and trade organization work groups and meetings as needed;
- Collaborate on corporate initiated reimbursement strategies as needed;
- Adhere to corporate compliance programs and successfully participate in training and continuing education programs.

- Must be organized and detail oriented;
- Ability to analyze and interpret regulations and legislation re: coding, coverage & reimbursement in the medical device industry;
- Knowledge of private payer, Medicare and Medicaid, and other insurance systems’ structures, policies & reimbursement processes;
- Must live within 45 minutes of a major airport (no relocation assistance is available);
- Computer skills to include MS Excel, Power Point, Word, and CRM software;
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a field reimbursement role, preferably for a Medical Device company;
- Comfortable driving multiple initiatives at a rapid pace, making thoughtful recommendations with available data; and
- Experience in working closely with global sales and marketing commercial teams, including ability to influence cross functionally.
- Ability to travel 30-60% (1-3 nights per week)

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, electrophysiology, and arrhythmias;
- Certified Professional Coder or equivalent (AAPC, AHIMA)
- Prior experience working with GPO/IDN or hospital value analysis committees; and
- Documented examples of working with sales and commercial organization.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
- Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
