We are seeking a **Assay Development, Associate Scientist** to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at **Austin TX**.

The **Assay Development, Associate Scien**tist** is instrumental in conducting experimental tasks to support assay/method development programs under the guidance of senior staff.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Executing experimental tasks for assay validation and development.
- Cross-training in various areas of expertise.
- Supporting assay development through assigned tasks and activities.
- Organizing and maintaining the lab environment.
- Monitoring inventory for experimental needs.
- Maintaining laboratory notebooks under regulatory standards.
- Ensuring quality and timely delivery of data to clients.
- Upholding safety and 6S standards in the lab.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
- 1 year of experience in method or assay development.
- Knowledge of lab principles, terminology, and instrumentation.
- Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

**The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role**:

- Understanding of sample handling and preparation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $52,500.00 - $87,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
