Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists (PVS) is seeking a veterinary assistant for our growing surgery service. The role of the assistant is to sterilize and prepare surgical instruments, prepare operating rooms for surgery, help to induce patients in anesthesia and generally support the surgery team. The assistant will have the opportunity to learn from a team of highly skilled, certified anesthesia nurses and one VTS in emergency and critical care. We have two surgeons in our surgery service who enjoy performing soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.

PVS is a 24/7 emergency/specialty practice in Glen Mills, PA whose mission is to create a medicine first, patient first culture as a veterinarian owned hospital. We seek to create an alternative option in the corporate dominated specialty market in Philadelphia. This alternative affords the freedom of autonomy for staff to make on the ground decisions without layers of management, recognizes and rewards nurses as critical members of our team, and an opportunity to work in a smaller, collaborative environment that feels more like a family than just a place to work.

Our brand new facility opened in August 2021 and houses emergency/critical care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, radiology and cardiology. We have digital radiography, full in house Idexx lab systems, Siemens blood gas analyzer, a GE 16 Slice CT scanner and a mobile MRI unit.

PVS is located at 600 Evergreen Drive in Glen Mills, PA which is a southern suburb of Philadelphia. We are located across from the Costco in Glen Mills and near the Brinton Lake Shopping complex allowing easy access to restaurants and shopping. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
