**Duties**:
The selectee will serve as an Assistant Operations Security Screening Program Manager (Truck Screening) in the Office of Protective Operations. Typical work assignments include:

- Monitoring vehicle/truck security screening operations to ensure compliance with Secret Service and other regulations.
- Overseeing subordinate employees by coordinating manpower, conducting trainings, and ensuring proper screening operations.
- Conducting budgetary activities for vehicle/cargo screening operations.
- Collecting data to provide information on the truck screening process.
- Organizing special projects related to security and screening program operations.

**Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below**

You qualify for the GS-12 level (starting salary $99,200.00) if you possess one one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
- Reviewing project plans, policies and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to determine strategies to achieve program objectives;
- Analyzing program metrics to improve security program operations; and
- Conducting security screenings to comply with regulations.

NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
- **The incumbent may be required to obtain and maintain Contracting Officer's Representative certification within 12 months**

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
