**Office Manager**
Avena Integrative Medicine, LLC is seeking a Practice Manager/LNA to manage all aspects of the medical practice. We are an integrative medical practice offering naturopathic medicine, acupuncture and nutrition to our patients. Located in a beautiful office in Montpelier with a lovely group of co-workers. This role is multifaceted with a lot of opportunity to grow and expand.
The Practice Manager/LNA will provide administrative support to physicians and direct patient support including: management of front desk, checking in/out patients, answering/returning phone calls, scheduling, invoicing, writing and sending referral letters, management of supplies and product inventory and ordering, blood draws(with the right experience), lab specimen processing, preparing documentation for staff/insurance carriers and medical billing. The Practice Manager/LNA will serve as an intermediary between patients and professional staff.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred. Will accept High School diploma (or equivalent) with the right personality and experience.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task or prioritize tasks based on importance. Excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in EHRs with strong ability to learn new computer programs.
- Detail oriented
- Professional appearance/demeanor
- Can work under pressure
- Calm/compassionate/centered
- Enthusiastic about learning
- Experience with medical billing or desire to learn billing
- Reliable and dependable
- Clean background check mandatory
Pay is $22 per hour.
