**Job Summary**

We perform state-of-the-art cosmetic surgery focused on facial plastic surgery, and hair restoration. The Surgical Consultant / PCC will engage in phone inquiries and face-to-face consultations with potential and/or current patients from initial inquiry to follow-up. The SC/ PCC will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, including scheduling of consultations and subsequent follow-up in converting patients to surgery. As a part of this process, the PCC will educate patients on proposed treatment care plans, including payment options. In addition, this position will be responsible for managing interactions with patients both in the pre-and post-operative phase of the patient's journey. The SC/PCC will work in conjunction with the physician(s) and practice manager in establishing and achieving agreed upon goals.

**Responsibilities**
- Respond to inquiries (via phone and walk in) regarding procedures (cosmetic surgery, hair).
- Assess needs. Consult with and present benefits and features of services and procedures.
- Provide weekly tracking reports on New Patient consultation status.
- Review and ensure solid surgery schedule for the doctor. Closely monitor schedule, ensuring cancellations are filled.
- Schedule cosmetic and surgical procedures, pre-op and post-op appointments.
- Review surgery schedule weekly with office physicians and office manager.
- Retain patients by recommending other services such as non-surgical treatments, skincare consultation, or laser services.
- Maintain contact with patients throughout the entire experience to ensure a positive experience. Support out of state/ out of town patients in arranging the accomodations.
- Promote aesthetician and skin care services to patients (in the future).
- Collect surgical, facility and anesthesia fees associated with surgery and process with the Business Office.
- Coordinates patient seminars, including innovations, presentations, refreshments, and follow-up. Consults with attendees.
- Attend seminars to keep informed and updated in plastic surgery.

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of work experience in plastic surgery or medical office
- One to two years of sales experience preferred
- Ability to exert subtle motivation and influence
- Proven track record in meeting and/or exceeding goals
- Proven track record for working as part of a highly collaborative patient management
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to listen effectively and understand patient needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and is energetic, reliable, and flexible
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and organize
- Ability to provide friendly, timely service to all patients with questions or concerns
- Ability to negotiate internal resources
- Position requires a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
- Knowledge of PatientNow, ALLĒ and CareCredit are a plus

- Harris Facial Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics continues to follow all CA state public health orders and policies regarding COVID-19. All potential employees are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon an offer of employment unless an individual qualifies for a Religious or Medical exemption. Employees who have approved exemptions must follow additional protocols where required, such as scheduled COVID-19 testing or other requirements in accordance with CDC or state and local public health government orders._

Pay: $24.00 - $28.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
