At Desert View Schools, we believe in enhancing the quality of teaching and learning and in promoting progressive steps towards effective classroom practices. We believe that even minor adjustments can have a significant impact on a teacher's approach to teaching and students' learning outcomes. Our instructional coach will help us help our teachers be the best they can be at all times.

Our instructional coach will play a crucial role in equipping teachers with the necessary skills to enhance their teaching methods by providing customized professional development sessions and specialized coaching to meet their specific needs. Our coach will have an in-depth understanding of standards, curriculum, and best practices and are committed to achieving better student results.

Our coach will aim to promote better teaching methods to achieve better student outcomes, which is why they must tailor their approach according to each teacher's unique needs. For instance, if a teacher requires assistance in improving classroom management, our coach will observe their instruction during challenging times to provide insight that will make their classroom experience more effective.

Our instructional coaches work side-by-side with teachers, and their responsibilities include arranging comprehensive professional development programs, providing updates on state policies, mentoring teachers during classroom lessons, building strong and friendly relationships with teachers and school leaders, keeping track of the latest resources and techniques for teaching, assessment, classroom management, and student engagement, supporting teachers in analyzing and utilizing data to develop teaching methods, assisting teachers in lesson planning and differentiation, providing informal feedback by observing instruction, developing systems and structures to enhance teaching practices at the school, analyzing and utilizing student data to improve instruction, coaching teachers who may be reluctant to receive coaching, and being part of the school leadership team.

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Education, educational leadership, curriculum development or other area of related instructional expertise.
