Roswell, United States Summit Autism Center Full time

Summit Autism Center has immediate full-time openings for motivated, energetic and creative ABA Therapists/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). Starting hourly rate may be higher if you already have the RBT credential.

**Responsibilities**
- Work with children diagnosed with Autism ages 2-12 years old
- Implement specific teaching techniques following ABA principles developed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) under the direct supervision of the BCBA
- Communicate and collaborate daily with team members, parents, and supervisors
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Complete and submit documentation including daily session notes in a timely manner

**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children with Autism and/or children with behavioral issues REQUIRED.
- Completed Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and/or completion of 40 hour course
- Pass a 10-year background check
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to respond quickly in short distances (100 feet) in response to the movements and behaviors of children
- Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

**Hours**

Full-time hours: Guaranteed 30 hours per week with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week (Clinic is open Monday-Friday 8am-4pm)

Summit Autism Center provides effective treatment, based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We aim to maximize the potential of persons who are affected by Autism or other developmental disabilities by providing intensive instruction in the areas of behavior, social skills, and communication. Our clinic is uniquely designed to meet a child’s individual needs and operates year-round.
