Eyeglasses Lab Technician/craftsman Assistant

**We are recruiting an Eyeglasses Lab Technician/Craftsman Assistant in Orange County, CA.**

**This is an entry level position with a potential long-term/permanent career path. This position has extreme growth potential as a lab technician in a developing industry. No experience required; WE WILL TRAIN.**

**We have over ninety years of combined experience fixing and making eyeglasses and sunglasses. Our master eyewear repair technicians and opticians have a solution for all eyewear issues by combining experience with technology. You will be required to assist with fulfilling daily orders and developing/pioneering new processes and techniques in a growing industry.**

**Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to**:

- **Disassembly and assembly of eyewear**:

- **Assist Lead Technician in troubleshooting eyewear issues**:

- **Inventory control**:

- **Machine and tool maintenance**:

- **Job prepping/order input**:

- **Final inspection/quality Control**:

- **Lab clean up**

**Requirements**:

- **High school education or GED**:

- **Good hand eye coordination and mechanical skill a must**:

- **Driven and self-motivated**:

- **Ability to follow directions closely in a fast pace work environment**:

- **Enjoy working on detailed projects**:

- **Works well with others (team player)**:

- **Punctual with deadlines**:

- **Strong attention to detail and accuracy required**:

- **Flexible and willing to move from one department to another as needed**:

- **Dependability, attendance, and reliable transportation is a MUST**:

- **Hands on experience a plus (optical, jewelry, circuit board, etc)**

**About**:
**Hours for these positions vary, beginning as early as 9:00 AM and ending as late as 7:30 PM. Some positions require flexibility to stay late or arrive early in order to meet order fulfillment demands. FLEXIBILITY is a MUST**

**This position would be ideal for someone who likes a team environment but who can also focus on a proven customer service process with precision to consistently deliver for our clients in a timely manner.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
