Cad Drafter

Responsibilities:
- Prepares detailed wastewater systems, equipment and layout drawings according to engineering designs and specifications.
- Supports sales efforts with sales drawings and chemical process flow diagrams in a timely manner.
- Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Creates fabrication designs and drawings, including 3D, isometric, and explosion view as required according to engineering specifications.
- Incorporate design changes and updates into existing drawings.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including plans, layouts, schematics and product manuals.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed drawings to identify any errors or discrepancies
- Maintain organized files and records of all CAD drawings
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- Technical high school or 1-2 year college level technical education minimum.
- Proven experience working as a CAD Drafter or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD. Experience using AutoCAD 3D a plus.
- Knowledge of chemical process flow diagrams, equipment layout design, piping, valves, and electrical schematics
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design issues
- Ability to self motivate and prioritize tasks in order to ensure deadlines are met.
- The ability to work well independently, as well, as in groups as part of a team.
Pay: $24.50 - $26.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
