**STUDENT SPONSOR PARTNERS: WHO WE ARE**:
Since its founding in 1986, Student Sponsor Partners (SSP) has been providing private high school education and mentorship to economically and educationally disadvantaged students. Thousands of students are supported by a sponsor and a mentor and attend private partner high schools located in New York City.

**DAY TO DAY AS A MENTOR RECRUITMENT & RETENTION MANAGER**:
As the Mentor Recruitment & Retention Manager at Student Sponsor Partners, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining meaningful mentor-mentee relationships. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, screening, training, and supporting mentors and mentees, as well as organizing monthly mentoring activities and implementing the program effectively. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing retention strategies to ensure a balanced mentor-mentee ratio. Your proactive approach in cultivating partnerships and conducting outreach will be vital in attracting potential mentors. With 75% travel required, you will have the opportunity to engage with diverse communities and stakeholders to drive mentor recruitment efforts.
