**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training is required (graduation from accredited program); Master’s degree in Athletic Training or similar program preferred
- **License/Certifications**: Certifications in Athletic Training (ATC) through the NATA Board of Certification and Strength and Conditioning (CSCS) through the NSCA required; Maine State Athletic Trainers’ License required; CPR/AED certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association required.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer is preferred. Experience in teaching and preparing instructional material preferred.
