Welcome to Always In Motion We are a well-established and rapidly growing team of physical therapists and other movement experts that specialize in active aging. We provide proactive PT and fitness services for people ages 50+, and our brand new 9,000 square-foot fitness and wellness center — coming June 2024 — will serve as an innovative, integrated, and centralized hub where people can improve their health and age well together.

We are seeking a warm, organized, and energetic front desk manager to lead our non-clinical team. As the front desk manager, you will enjoy variety in your days — from being the friendly face and welcoming presence that greets our members and manages reception staff, to overseeing facility operations and assisting with community engagement events. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our members and our team by providing exceptional customer service and creating a supportive, inviting, and inclusive atmosphere for our active community. **What you’ll be doing each day**:
Warm Welcome & Reception Management:

- Greet members and visitors with a warm, friendly, and positive attitude, and assist them with check-ins, inquiries, and any other needs.
- Manage facility operations and oversee reception staff.

Customer Service:

- Build strong relationships with our members by understanding their needs and providing personalized support and guidance.
- Handle member concerns and feedback with empathy, professionalism, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Answer questions about membership options, classes, services, and facilities, and other member inquiries as they arise.

Membership Management, Scheduling and Appointments:

- Conduct tours and orientations for potential and new members, respectively, showcasing our equipment, amenities, and services.
- Handle new member sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations, and maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records.
- Coordinate and schedule fitness consultations, classes, and training sessions for our members.
- Manage our facility's booking system to ensure accurate and up-to-date scheduling.

Staff Management:

- Train, supervise, and support our reception staff, creating a collaborative and positive team environment.
- Conduct periodic staff meetings and performance evaluations to ensure our team continues to provide outstanding customer service.

Financial Management:

- Process payments for memberships, services, and merchandise.
- Monitor and track transactions and expenses, maintaining financial integrity and adherence to our budgetary guidelines.

Safety:

- Assist in ensuring a safe environment for members and visitors, including monitoring security cameras, periodically walking common areas, and responding to members in need.

Communication and Coordination:

- Foster open and clear communication with other departments and team members, promoting collaboration and unity across the facility.
- Attend and participate in management meetings, sharing insights and ideas to help us continue to improve our systems and services.
- Coordinate and assist in organizing and hosting social and community events.

**Our ideal front desk manager would have**:

- Minimum of 3 years of front desk or office management experience, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, Hospitality, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to connect with and support aging adults
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Google Workspace and experience with booking/scheduling software
- Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid (we cover the expense for this)
- The physical ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods
- An appreciation of the value of movement, exercise, and community for health and wellbeing

**Your compensation package includes**:

- Base salary ($50,000-65,000 per year)
- Paid holidays and PTO (equivalent to 3-4 weeks per year)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
