**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Coordinator to join our team. The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for pricing approvals, negotiating with transportation providers to obtain the best rates and services, and troubleshooting any issues that may be escalated to them. They are responsible for managing the house accounts, while continuously seeking out additional growth opportunities.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Negotiate and manage contracts and pricing with transportation providers
- Measures and monitors carrier’s service levels to ensure benchmarking is tracked
- Ensures customer expectations are met or exceeded by completing accurate and timely scheduling of carriers
- Utilizes various transportation software systems to facilitate material movement, planning, and scheduling
- Works directly with customers on the receipt and processing of transportation requests
- Implement strategies for optimizing supply chain efficiency
- Assists in the training of other Logistic Coordinators

**Skills**:

- Strong understanding of logistics principles and practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
- Position requires strong mathematical skills for pricing and negotiating
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems preferred

Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Pay: $56,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
