Job Summary:

- Reviewing superbills for correct coding.
- Revieiw patient demographics for accuracy and making corrections where needed.
- Reviews/downloads insurance Explanation of Benefits and posts payments to billing system.
- Posts payments and ensures allowances, adjustments and write-offs are posted correctly.
- Reconcile electronic remittances (ERA) and EFT payments.
- Performs tasks required to ensure the timely and accurate follow up of all assigned claims and documents billing.
- Addresses any discrepancies in charges, payments, adjustments and demographic information.
- Submit electronic and paper insurance claims within 24 hours of receiving the requisitions.
- Ensuring the patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date.
- Investigating and appealing denied claims.
- Speaking with insurance companies and patients regarding outstanding balances.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
