Medical Technologist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and general duties at an advanced skill level in the laboratory setting. This will include routine and specialized testing and procedures, quality control and instrument check procedures, and training and supervising other personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized testing and procedures with supervision as appropriate.
  • Conduct quality control and instrument check procedures and maintain related records.
  • Train and supervise other personnel in day-to-day procedures.
  • Participate in department-specific and system-wide projects of varying scope and duration.
  • Assist in implementing policies and procedures for department operation.

Requirements:

  • Prior lab experience (2-3 years required) and knowledge.
  • ASCP certification.
  • BS degree required.
