The Data Specialist collects, manages, reviews, and presents content to support data-driven decisions regarding membership needs, research methods, and outcomes for the Girl Scout experience.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Benefits eligible, including medical, dental, life, long-term disability, company paid holidays, 12 days of vacation (4-day work weeks), 3 days of personal time, and 12 days of sick, are earned each year. Additionally, we offer a 403b and match after 1 year, and offer the option to enroll in other supplementary benefits.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for data analysis, data entry, and data reporting to assist all departments
- Performs data verification and reviews discrepancies in data received to maintain the integrity of all collected information
- Makes recommendations for improvement or enhancement to data processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection, and retrieval are achieved
- Supports other departments in delivering targeted communication efforts and measures outcomes of such deliveries as necessary to maintain compliance
- Collaborates cross-functionally amongst multiple departments to generate council reports using organization-specific platforms
- Provides secondary support to the Customer Care Department
- Operates as platform Champion by remaining current with technology enhancements, deadlines, process updates through GSUSA groups, training staff as part of the onboarding process in the Looker platform, and keeping staff updated on necessary platform developments
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Completes all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Meets or exceeds all assigned departmental goals and works to support the overall goals of the Council
- Ensures Girl Scouting is open to all girls and adults by delivering the Girl Scouts message of pluralism and diversity to members of the Council
- Provides productive and positive collaboration experiences with other departments as needed
- All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Analytical and detail-oriented skill set
- Database and reporting knowledge and experience
- Proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external customers, including all levels of leadership
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to provide a distraction-free space and internet for the hybrid work model, which consists of a blend of remote work with occasional on-site work as assigned
- Willingness to perform tasks that involve the ability to exert light physical effort, which may include some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling objects and materials of moderate weight (20-25 pounds)
- Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Understanding and acceptance of the Girl Scout Promise, Law, beliefs, and principles
- Willingness to become a member of Girl Scouts of the USA

**Salary**: $20.33 - $21.98 an hour ($37,000 - $40,000 annually), based on a 35-hour workweek

Pay: $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
