Dental Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:
Creodent is a State-of-the-Art Dental Laboratory looking for new recruits to join our team. We are seeking skilled and entry level Dental Lab Technicians.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Reads prescriptions or specifications to fabricate and repair dental devices such as dentures, crowns, bridges, inlays, and appliances for straightening teeth.
- Creates a model of patient's mouth by pouring plaster into a dental impression and allowing plaster to set.
- Tests appliances for conformance to specifications and accuracy of occlusion using articulators and micrometers.
- Prepares metal surfaces for bonding with porcelain to create artificial teeth using small hand tools.
- Builds and shapes wax teeth using small hand instruments and with information from observations or dentists' specification.
- Collaborate with the dental office team to ensure efficient case completion.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience in dental laboratory is a plus
- Familiarity with dental anatomy and terminology
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
