**Work Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm**

**Position Summary**: - In this Container Freight/trucking dispatching position you will be planning and scheduling our driver’s routes for Pick-ups & Deliveries of customer's airfreight at LAX. Dispatch drivers according to customer needs and instructions, ensure cost-effective on-time performance and keep effective communication with Drivers.

**Core Duties & Responsibilities**:
**MUST HAVE CONTAINER FREIGHT OR TRUCKING DISPATCHING EXPERIENCE**
- Responsible for the coordination, scheduling, dispatching and planning of customer freight shipments
- Consistently maintain and update the dispatching software to provide customers with transparency of the status of their cargo.
- Act as the main point of contact for all driver communication via telephone
- Monitor shipments throughout transit to effectively meet delivery schedules
- Manage customer and driver expectations to align with operational capabilities
- Maintain information on shipments and ensure paperwork required for the release of the cargo is given to the proper personnel
- Work cooperatively with customer service/sales to provide solutions for customers’ needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Follow up with the status of cargo in the warehouse by communicating effectively with the warehouse lead.

**Job Requirements**:
Must have at least 2 years of Container Freight or Trucking dispatching experience

High School diploma or GED

Bilingual Spanish (required)

Utilize dispatching software

MUST be able to multi
- task in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure
Self-motivated problem-solver that has a strong desire to meet our customers’ needs
Computer Proficiency in ALL Microsoft programs, internet, and software

Basic math skills & accurate data entry

**Requirements**:

- Must have experience utilizing a dispatching software on a daily basis
- Knowledge of LAX cargo terminals
- Familiar with Southern California cities
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Good judgment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multi-task

$24-$30/Hr. DOE

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
