Geffen Academy at UCLA is seeking a Learning Specialist who works closely with educators, parents/caretakers, and administrators to support students with diverse learning needs and ensure all students experience success in their classrooms. Specifically, the Learning Specialist collaborates with and assists educators in implementing effective research-based strategies, differentiated instruction, and implementation of accommodations for the Middle School and Upper School (grades 6-12). The Learning Specialist, under the direction and reporting to the Principal Learning Specialist, maintains a caseload of students with individual learning needs and provides executive functioning coaching, study skills instruction, and reading/writing/math/world languages/electives support to these students. The Learning Specialist is an integral member of the Student Support Team along with the school's Deans of Students and Academic Deans.

- 3 to 5 years' experience teaching or learning specialist work in a secondary school environment. (required)
