Job Overview:
The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor supports the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing daily warehouse operations. This role involves managing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards. The Assistant Warehouse Supervisor is crucial in promoting productivity and compliance within the warehouse.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Staff Supervision**:

- Assist in supervising warehouse staff, including on-boarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Provide direction and support to warehouse team members to ensure operational efficiency.
- Address and resolve employee issues and concerns promptly.
- **Workflow Management**:

- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including delivery, pickup and receiving.
- Ensure that orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Monitor and adjust staff assignments to accommodate workload fluctuations.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Barcode, scan, and rack incoming orders
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety regulations and warehouse policies to create a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Safety training and ensure staff are aware of safety protocols.
- **Equipment and Facility Maintenance**:

- Oversee the maintenance and proper operation of warehouse equipment.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and in good repair.
- Report and coordinate repairs for any facility or equipment issues.
- Work closely with vehicle and building vendors to coordinate repairs.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including receiving and delivery workorders, inventory reports, and employee timesheets.
- Assist in developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.
- **Customer Service**:

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer workorders are fulfilled accurately and timely.
- Address and resolve any issues related to workorder completion and client orders
- **Communication and Coordination**:

- Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, customer service, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to warehouse operations.
- Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance and inventory status to senior management.
- **Technology Utilization**:

- Utilize warehouse management software and systems to track workorders and manage operations.
- Barcode Scanners and inventory control knowledge
