**Summary**

We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator who will be responsible for interacting with patients on the phone to schedule MRI’s and other exams. Additional responsibilities include: interacting with referring physician offices over the phone to coordinate patient care, managing patient insurance authorizations, and working closely with office manager, other patient care coordinators, and billing staff.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Effective multi-tasking skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent telephone and personal communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and programs
- High commitment to customer service
- Prior experience obtaining authorizations for a medical office is a plus
- Bilingual with Spanish is a plus.

**Qualifications**:

- Medical office experience
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills, especially in Spanish
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems and front desk duties
- Customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
