**-Saturday & Sunday: 3pm-11pm [16hrs] $17.50**


**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment, performing traffic duty as needed.
- Exterior and Interior tour of campus grounds and buildings, while also using tour system/checkpoints.
- Complete lockdown of campus by end of shift
- Monitor site cell phone for access requests, incidents, and security questions
- Communicate with client/maintenance department with all issues and activity
- Maintain daily report
- Set up / move driveway barricades
- Vehicle & golf-cart exterior patrol
- Act as a visible deterrent to prevent unauthorized access or activities
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including investigating and documenting any suspicious behavior or activities
- Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and protect company assets
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries or concerns
- Perform access control duties by verifying identification and granting or denying entry as necessary
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security


**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- First aid, CPR, or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is advantageous
- Connecticut Security Officer License / Guard Card
- Drivers License
