The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the efficient operation of refinery equipment and systems. This role involves coordinating with various departments to prioritize maintenance activities, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Planning and Scheduling**:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for refinery equipment and systems.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all planned maintenance activities are aligned with production schedules to minimize downtime.
- **Work Order Management**:

- Create, review, and manage work orders for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure work orders are complete with necessary details, including materials, tools, and manpower requirements.
- Monitor the progress of work orders and update schedules as necessary.
- **Resource Coordination**:

- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of necessary materials and spare parts.
- Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, tools, and equipment, to meet maintenance objectives.
- Manage contractor and vendor activities related to maintenance work.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and maintenance logs.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance performance, including KPIs such as equipment downtime, maintenance costs, and work order completion rates.
- Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and safety standards.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with refinery safety standards and procedures.
- Participate in safety audits and inspections, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement best practices for maintenance planning and scheduling to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
- **Communication**:

- Serve as a liaison between maintenance, operations, and engineering departments.
- Facilitate regular meetings to review maintenance plans, schedules, and progress.
- Provide clear and timely communication to all stakeholders regarding maintenance activities and changes to schedules.

Pay: $55.00 - $77.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
