**INDUSTRIAL JANITOR - PART TIME FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE**

Our capabilities are constantly expanding and currently include metal stamping, laser cutting, brake forming, tubular stamped components, CNC and Swiss machined parts, wire forms, thread rolling, weldments, and integrated assemblies. Our modern facility includes a complete in-house tool and die department and fastener distributorship.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Job Summary**:
The industrial janitor’s duties include cleaning production areas, machinery, equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in employee breakrooms and restrooms following safety procedures and handling chemicals in an industrial setting.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Clean the manufacturing environment including floors, walls, and equipment
- Operate floor scrubbers, sweepers, scissors lifts and other equipment
- Clean and disinfect commonly used items like lockers, tools, benches and equipment
- Clean and maintain shop locker rooms and restrooms
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Stock and maintain shop cleaning supplies
- Clean and replace equipment air filters
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
- Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
- Good organization skills
- Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
- Excellent time-management skills
