- On a typical day you will:

- Perform under mínimal supervision.
- Job performance will be measured in adherence to EHS policies, the integrity of test results and timely completion of projects.
- Demonstration of a commitment to customer requirements and delight.
- Completion of qualification testing for electrical tests in both the QAC and the BTT.
- Modernize BTT and QAC test fixtures/controllers/simulators etc with emphasis on using Otis’s hardware and software.
- Develop standard work for:

- Following Otis wire color code for voltages
- Using safe and efficient wiring practices
- Standardize the building of test fixtures
- Design an onboarding plan for new BTT/QAC employees that will allow a more successful start to their career
- Leads in mentoring, training, and coaching of technical, entry-level personnel
- What You Will Need to be Successful:

- High School Diploma with an aptitude for the technical or skilled trades.
- 15+ years of electrical technician work experience is required.
- Aptitude for understanding test procedures and qualification requirements
- Aptitude for building, troubleshooting and operation of electrical test fixtures.
- Using various test equipment including voltmeters, oscilloscopes, meggers, temperature measuring and monitoring equipment.
- Aptitude for troubleshooting control systems and drives.
- Strong team working skills with project teams and other technicians.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
- Must be proficient in spoken and written English and computer literate
- Must be able to read and understand electrical engineering drawings and implement their requirements.
- Proficient in electrical fabrication.
- Knowledge/working experience running climtic chmabers, including; temperature/humidity, salt fog, thermal shock, HALT, dust, and vibration
- Working knowledge of immunity testing including; AC power quality, transient surge, electrical fast transient burst, and ESD
