Description:
This position supports Free Arts by setting and driving financial discipline and operational efficiency, contributing insights that aid overall organizational performance and achieving the strategic vision for the organization. This position supervises finance and operations staff, directing all internal accounting and external reporting needs of the agency, human resources, technology, and resource management.

**Position Competencies and Responsibilities**

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, and initiatives to support the organization’s human resources compliance and strategy needs.
- Monitors and understands internal and external landscape within the HR department and identifies potential short
- and long-term effects on Free Arts success.
- Creates connections and bridges understanding organizationally in all areas of operations including budgeting, programs, fundraising, marketing, technology, and strategic planning to all stakeholders.
- Responsible for implementing the organizational three-year budgeting cycle, $2.5 MM- $3.5MM (AP & AR) annually.

- Serves as the staff liaison to the Board of Directors Internal Relations committee, Audit committee, and other areas as assigned.
- Implementation of organizational operations support.
- Provides oversight of all Human Resources and Culture initiatives.

- Manages the Finance Manager in the creation of, and reporting-out of, the organizational financial position on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Manages the Information Technology Manager in support of the organization’s data and IT structure.
- Manages the implementation of organizational operations support and building management.
- Manages the HR Specialist to ensure all HR related processes are being followed in support of the organization’s goals.
