We’re currently seeking a Contract Control Specialist for construction workeragement work on public sector projects within NYC.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of project contracts, including the terms and conditions, payment schedules, and scope of work.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure that contractual obligations are met.
- Ensure that all project documentation is properly managed and maintained, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues that could impact project timelines, costs, or quality.
- Work closely with the project team to develop and implement effective strategies for managing project risks and mitigating potential issues.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Provide guidance and support to project managers and other stakeholders on contractual issues, ensuring that all parties understand their rights and obligations under the contract.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates on contract-related matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders, ensuring that all parties work collaboratively to achieve project objectives.
Ideal applicants will have:
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience required, or comparable combination of experience and education.
- Must have 5 year’s experience in project management, design, construction, operation, contract administration or related field.
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills along with experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Workeragement or a related field is necessary.
Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
