Job Summary:
**Asset Management Duties**:

- Manage production of annual property-level financial projections from third-party property managers.
- Review monthly and quarterly property-level financial results to ensure performance matches investment/annual budget expectations; identify and resolve related discrepancies.
- Facilitate the preparation of quarterly management reporting to senior management. Review and analyze Asset Management reports
- Be able to provide ad-hoc asset level financial and operational information, goals, and objectives to property management, accounting, tax advisors, investor relations, and senior management. Strive to ensure accuracy across all departments and seek to resolve discrepancies as they arise. Coordinate and facilitate quarterly and annual reporting to investors in conjunction with the Senior VP and participate in quarterly portfolio reviews and periodic business planning meetings.
- Facilitate capital improvements and/or upfit projects as needed.
- Maintain a market presence to understand the changing market dynamics for all properties.
- Organize and maintain digital lease and operating records for each property.
- Constantly look for areas of improvement and document lessons learned.
- Conduct financial analysis and research to support decision-making processes
- Assist in asset management and portfolio management activities
- Collaborate with senior management in financial planning and investment strategies
- Support the implementation of financial concepts in daily operations
- Contribute to investment management projects and initiatives
- Provide insights on financial services and investment banking practices

**Property Management and Tenant Relations Duties**:

- Act as the company’s representative to and maintain relationships with existing tenants to promote their long-term success. Work proactively to develop relationships with new and potential retail and office tenants in target markets.
- Coordinate with third-party property management to resolve any lease, operations, or tenant issues.
- Facilitate and coordinate tenant releasing and upfit projects to maximize net operating income and long-term investment objectives.
- Cultivate relationships with preferred real estate brokers to understand market conditions and source new opportunities.
- Other tasks as may be assigned.

**Qualifications (preferred)**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business management, real estate, etc.
- 5 years of work experience in asset management, real estate finance, or a related field
- Excellent understanding of real estate finance structures, property level operating cashflows, JV waterfalls, and different debt structures.
- High level of acuity with Microsoft Excel; ability to generate, manipulate, and summarize data in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
- Understanding of commercial real estate lease terms and ability to read, interpret, negotiate and enforce lease documents.
- Understanding of commercial real estate loan documents and terms.
- Ability to read construction documents and facilitate solutions for tenant build outs.
- Ability to coordinate & communicate cross-functionally within a broader family office setting including accounting teams and investor relations teams
- Self-motivated individuals looking to drive business processes improvements across finance, accounting, and investment disciplines

- Ability to work well, independently and in a team environment.
- Uses proper English grammar both written and oral
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
