Job Overview:
The Accountant is responsible for booking daily transactions, month-end GL account reconciliations, processing payroll for approximately 30 employees along with AR and AP functions. This position also assists the owners with ad-hoc tasks.

**Duties**:

- Perform month-end close duties including the analysis of financial statement variances and system issues, preparation of various journal entries for accruals, corrections, and reclasses.
- Manage QuickBooks daily activities for all Accounting and Operational aspects.
- Enter data into QuickBooks for various accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Human Resources, the proper treatment of related transactions and resolution of accounting and system issues.
- Maintain accounting calendar and department data for deadlines on monthly close.
- Manage the preparation of internal financial statements and reports, ensuring quality, reliability and accuracy, under the supervision of external advisors.
- Monitor cash flows and bank reconciliations for multiple business locations.
- Coordinate all mandatory tax reporting.
- Work with external CPA on the Company's annual tax review.
- Research and resolve accounting issues including evaluation and implementation of new accounting procedures to ensure US GAAP compliance.

**Experience**:

- Minimum BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
- Five (5) plus years experience

Skills Required/Nice-to-have:

- Experience working with multiple QuickBooks files for multiple entities.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and assessment skills.
- Strong questioning, problem solving and analysis skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Infinity Diagnostics Center has an exciting opportunity for a highly detailed, experienced accountant to join our growing team. We operate multiple diagnostic centers in and around the greater Houston area. This is a key position based in our Houston corporate office and reports to the Director of Operations.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
