**OVERVIEW**
We are looking for a boat captain to support our team in San Diego, California. You will have a USCG Captain license and love driving fast boats, military support craft and rigid inflatable (RHIBS) boats in various ocean conditions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Must be familiar with all marine, Federal Coast Guard, state, and local rules and regulations.
- Planning and executing maritime operations including support for government and military sea trials
- Communicate with others to coordinate material handling, rig tow lines, and vessel movement.
- Steer and operate vessels using radios, depth finders, lights, and buoys.
- Responsible for getting the vessel ready for daily operations including fueling and inspecting vessel to ensure safe operations.
- Boat maintenance and repair as required.
- Ensure vessels are clean, covered and secured after each daily operation.
- Manage manifest for all crew members.
- Maintain records of operations “log book”.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Must maintain a minimum USCG 6 Pack Captain License
- Must be familiar with all marine, Federal Coast Guard, state, and local rules and regulations.
- Experience working with military support craft.
- Experience operating high speed RHIBs in various ocean conditions (Additional training will be provided for specific missions).
- Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Must be in compliance with the DRUG TESTING REQUIREMENTS FOR CHARTER VESSEL 46 CFR parts 4 and 16, 49 CFR Part 40, 33 CFR 95
- Compensation based on experience.
