**Position Overview**:

- We are currently looking for a well-organized and compassionate Intake Coordinator. This role is crucial in guaranteeing that new patients have a seamless and friendly experience when they first arrive and plays a significant part in the overall quality of care that our clinic provides.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** New Patient Inquiries**:Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from individuals seeking treatment, providing them with accurate information about our services and the intake process.
- ** Insurance Coordination**: Gather and submit insurance information to verify benefits and eligibility for potential patients. Collaborate with insurance providers to ensure timely processing and approval of claims.
- ** Financial Counseling**: Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and payment options. Assist patients in understanding their financial obligations and provide guidance on available resources for financial assistance if needed.
- ** Community Referrals and Relationships**:Cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate referrals and promote our services. Serve as a liaison between our organization and external partners to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients.
- ** Marketing Events**:Coordinate and participate in marketing events, such as health fairs, conferences, and networking events, to promote awareness of our services and attract potential patients. Represent our organization professionally and effectively communicate our value proposition to event attendees.
- ** Documentation and Record-Keeping**: Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions, intake assessments, insurance information, and financial agreements.
- ** Collaboration**:Work closely with other members of the treatment team, including clinicians, administrative staff, and billing specialists, to streamline the intake process and provide comprehensive support to patients.

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Must have "lived experience" as an adult in recovery for a minimum of 2 years from a mental health and/or substance use condition or as a family member or caregiver to another person who is living with a mental health and/or substance use condition.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Pay**:$18.00 - $22.00 per hour & performance incentives
