We are growing Utility Energy Services (UES) is a minority-owned energy efficiency implementation and consulting company delivering a variety of field, technical, administrative, and program management solutions to utility and private sector companies. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Energy Advisor to join our team. As an Energy Advisor at UES, you will play a crucial role in helping our customers identify energy-saving opportunities. In this role, you will conduct walk through energy assessments and perform installations of a wide variety of energy savings technologies including smart thermostats, lighting and water savings measures. Additionally, technicians educate customers on how their homes use and waste energy and provide guidance on how to conserve energy. Role includes:

- Responsible for installations, service and inspections and/or conducting energy audits and assessments to quantify energy consumption to recommend energy saving practices and measures.
- Educate customers on their usage, install energy-saving/safety measures and recommend energy saving practices to customers.
- Maintain a safe working environment for UES employees and utility customers at all times, providing a high level of customer service and education for each service or installation performed.
- Conduct detailed audits, assessments or work orders assigned daily as scheduled according to the technical specifications of the program.
- Provide customers with education sessions and recommendations on energy efficiency measures.
- Identify potential conservation measures, savings potential and recommend energy efficient technologies as appropriate.
- Manage supplied inventory materials and company issued equipment.
- Clean job site and treat customer property with the utmost respect, ensuring spaces are left in the same or better condition they were found.
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during scheduled customer appointments.
- Communicate all existing and potential customer service issues to immediate supervisor in real time.
- Conduct work in compliance with company safety procedures.

**Experience Required**:

- 1 year experience in any of the following categories or roles:

- Energy audits, cable/internet installation, fiber optics, home electrical, heating, cooling, and ventilation (HVAC), home alarm installations, automotive wiring and service, residential building trades or other equivalent experience
- High School graduate or equivalent (GED, Technical Diploma, Certificate of Completion, etc.)
- Proficient in English (speaking and writing)
- Possess a valid and current state driver’s license with clean driving record and dependable mode of transportation (public transportation, personal vehicle)
- Pass a criminal history background check and drug test
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to use tablet-based technology
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Driver's License and Proof of Auto Insurance (required)
- Currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst certification (_preferred_)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
