**Administrative and Operations Assistant**

**Who We are**:
As an Administrative Assistant at Axis Research & Technologies, you will work hand in hand with our clients and team, providing estimates, support and front-end duties. You will also work with accounting on estimates, final invoices and more. You will be a part of a cohesive and professional working environment. Part of your role will be to continually assess the needs around you and support the team in those areas. You will work directly with the clients and the team to create an exceptional client experience.

As an administrative assistant, you will also work with the Axis team to support lab trainings including but not limited to, set up and break down, checking in clients, handling deliveries, catering set up and more.

**Day to Day of the Administrative and Operations Assistant**
- Interfacing with our clients, handling inquiries, sending out estimates and being available for all client needs.
- Communicate daily with other Axis team members
- Providing weekly reports to communicate all tasks and responsibilities
- Making sure inventory is done on a consistent basis for facility needs (ie. snacks, drinks, waters, supplies and more)
- Support with lab/event prep - which may include catering, specific equipment needs, receiving shipments, scheduling AV, putting together estimates.
- Learning and becoming proficient with Salesforce
- Learning and becoming proficient with QuickBooks
- Being active on LinkedIn for outreach and support with Axis posts
- Business development
- Quarterly road maps may be a part of your role. This will allow you to better outline your strategy for business development.
- Cross training on other aspects of our business - learning basics to support with AV needs when necessary, understanding the lab and more
- Help with any duties related to labs and events which may include handling catering, set up and breakdown for labs and events, checking in clients and more
- Answer phones, greet clients and assist with checking in clients.
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Preparation for upcoming lab & events at the facility
- Maintain facility inventory such as office and kitchen supplies
- Support with maintaining facility organization and cleanliness

**Competency Scope of the Administrative and Operations Assistant**
- Education - Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both individually and well with a team.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Effective interpersonal skills (presentation, written, and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including executive leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior attention to detail
- Experience - Working with Audio Video equipment for live video production
- Experience with keyboards, live streaming, broadcasting not required but a plus
- Strong collaboration skills to effectively work with internal and external teams to effectively design solutions that meet the business needs.
- Being ready & taking initiative to perform job assignments.
- Availability to work some weekends and evenings

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
