**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Continually learn about new programming languages, operating systems, and technologies to keep updated with the industry.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and performance-tune existing systems.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
**Qualifications**:
**What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications)**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years' experience as a Java Developer or similar role.
- Solid understanding of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, ECS, SDK/CDK is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Open to continuous learning and development opportunities.
**What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications)**:
- Knowledge of airline industry e-tickets, PNRs, and EMDs.
- Familiarity with United Airlines internal UCD events.
