SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday from 7am to 3:30pm
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent
PAY RATE: $72K-$80K per year depending on experience + BENEFITS
Relocation assistance if necessary: + 300 Miles

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Take part in a team that oversees the day-to-day operations at the manufacturing facility, specifically focusing on tasks related to electrical installation and testing of components, as well as the assembly of train cars. Assist with the Testing and Commissioning of the Train Sets. Take responsibility for the development and review of all technical specifications concerning electrical matters, including information from the customer, supplier, or any Federal agency. Develop and maintain technical documentation for processes, products, and quality requirements. Analyze and propose improvements to designs and concepts to optimize processes and products. Assist in defining and implementing manufacturing processes for electrical installations and components. Provide support and advice in resolving production issues. Help develop training materials for customers and provide assistance with any electrical technical matters. Attend project meetings to support the overall project. Analyze and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals. Hands-on work is necessary for testing electrical components, wiring, and overall system components. This involves close collaboration with the production staff. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure they adhere to specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure they meet design and equipment specifications and comply with operational and safety standards.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering At least 3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering for manufacturing assembly (circuits, wiring, panels) Experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus. Experience writing manuals, and fabrication processes Training in 3D CAD tools is a plus Experience in SAP a plus. Analog circuit simulation tools - PSPICE. Knowledge of CAD software (ProE or AutoCAD preferred). Microsoft Office tools Driver’s license Experience with contractual related project/work environment
