- 2+ years Experience in business administration and coordinating logistics with partners (preferred) And
- 2+ years Experience in policy research, specifically preparing, editing, and modifying documents including research reports, manuscripts, presentations and proposals (preferred) And
- 1+ years Experience in grant writing and implementation of grant-funded projects (preferred) And
- 1+ years Experience in facilitating community-engaged meetings and relationship building (preferred) And
- 1+ years Experience creating and managing newsletters, social media content, and other public-facing communications materials (preferred)
- Working knowledge of municipal climate action and adaptation planning processes. (required)
- Working knowledge of MailChimp, social media platforms, and/or Squarespace. (required)
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing (required)
- Demonstrates ability to use sound judgement in responding to issues and concerns. (required)
- Proficient in ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes (preferred)

Education, Licenses, Certifications, & Professional Affiliations:

- Bachelor's Degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training (required)

Special Conditions of Employment:

- Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
- Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment.
- Occasional attendance at offsite conferences and meetings. (required)
- Occasional evening and/or weekend work. (preferred)
