Accounts Payables Specialist

**Purpose of the Role**: Performs any combination of following tasks to ensure customer and vendor accounts are serviced and accurately maintained.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- Process check requests as needed
- Accurately and timely sort, code, match, and process vendor invoices
- Invoice entry and uploading
- Maintain a large number of vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
- Work with Purchasing & receiving departments to review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
- Credit card reconciliation
- Manage AP Inbox/ Vendor Correspondence - Address and respond to vendor inquiries
- Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements
- Maintain AP records by e-filing documents & performing monthly filing audits
- Maintain Vendor files
- Prepare and perform weekly payment runs
- Prepare wire transfers
- Annual 1099 reporting
**Qualification requirements**
- High school diploma
- 2-3 years of experience with accounts payable
- Proficient in data entry and management
- Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Strong analytic abilities
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Professional integrity
