**POSITION: Inventory Control Specialist**
The Inventory Control Specialist maintains and safeguards inventory at the Furnished Quarters warehouse. Duties will include receiving, issuing, and organizing materials, tools, and equipment for maximum efficiency; and preparing material daily to support the Van team. Warehouse Specialists who excel in the role maintain a clean and orderly warehouse with accurate inventory and must be detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask. This role reports daily to the warehouse to complete job responsibilities.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Demonstrate the Furnished Quarter’s Core Values in all guest, vendor, and colleague interactions.
- Ensures the warehouse is neat, organized, accessible, and always safe.
- Accurately receive, store inventory, and distribute warehouse items according to company standards.
- Assists with shipping and receiving, checking the merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
- Accurately fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
- Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated locations.
- Reads work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine materials for distribution or shipment.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Conducts inventories of warehouse supply par levels & guest supplies, reporting supply counts to management.
- Logs Lost and Found items according to the standard operating procedures.
- Opens boxes, crates, and other containers and breaks down boxes for recycling.
- Update the log with the location where items are stored and used.
- Update linen list returning from laundry company and housekeeping requests.
- Construct pack-out boxes for apartment set-ups.
- Organize items from deconstructed pack-out boxes.
- Update case information and service appointments in Salesforce.
- Returns cable equipment to the respective cable provider.
- Responsible for sweeping, mopping, and dusting the warehouse storage areas.
- Participates in after-hours, weekend/overnight On-Call program.
**ADDITIONAL DUTIES**
- Reports to the primary office location and travels to multiple worksites during business hours to assist with guest item deliveries and apartment inspections.
- Prepares apartments and inspects for cleanliness and furniture arrangement according to Furnished Quarters standards as directed.
**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
- 1-2 years of related warehousing or operations experience is required.
- Possess basic computer knowledge and the ability to operate a handheld tablet.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manual.
- Possesses the ability to communicate information to management and guests.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions in English and communicate verbally and in writing in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Participate in the rotational after-hours, weekend/overnight on-Call program.
- Flexibility to work fluctuating schedules as dictated by business and operational demands.
