**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**:

- Installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of protective relaying equipment.
- Calibrate & perform functional tests on microprocessor-based protective relays for high voltage substations.
- End-to-end relay testing using Doble ProTest software or Protection Suite.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Professional skills in protective relay logic, protection schemes, write-ups, and documentation of test plans related to full commissioning substations.
- Knowledge of Doble ProTest or Protection Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills together with a proven commitment to safety and customer service.

**Education & Experience**:

- Assistant Relay Field Service Engineers must have a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience installing, maintaining, testing & repairing protective relays in high voltage substations.
- Experience installing, maintaining, testing, & repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, and similar equipment.

**Pre-Screen**:

- Upon offer, employees may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and/or MVR check.

**License & Certifications**:

- Driver's License Preferred, but not required.

**Physical Requirements**:
