**Floor Care Technician**
**Type**:Full - Time
**Pay**:$17.00- $20.00
**Duties / Responsibilities**
- Determines accurate equipment and supplies that is needed in performing job duties.
- Strip and wax, scrub and recoat floors.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets.
- Buffing and maintaining hard floors.
- Keeps equipment clean and in good condition.
- Uses accurate chemical dilution ratios by following manufacturer’s specifications.
- Ensures no residue is left on the baseboard and kick plates or stainless-steel surfaces.
- Reports equipment repairs by following department procedure.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (required)
**Qualifications / Requirements**:
- 3-5 years of related work experience in all phases of floor care as well as carpet care.
- Willingness to be open to learning and growing.
- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance.
- Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Must comply with any dress code requirements.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
