The Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Events, The On Call Events Coordinator is a part-time position responsible for providing a brand right experience by providing an exceptional QVC customer experience for our customers at all Live Audience Shows and additional Corporate Events. You will accomplish all preshow logístical support aspects of Live Audience Shows and QVC Events. This includes all set up functions of a show, working with security, coordinating with backstage employees, checking in with vendors, coordinating any show give-away' s or special requests, manage LAS by working with QVC Line Producer on keeping audience engaged throughout show and manage meet and greet with celebrities or QVC guests.
The position is onsite in our West Chester, PA headquarters

Your Impact
- Coordinates customer check in process to include, ID verification, release form review, escorting audiences, escorting customers out of the events at the direction of security, handling customer emergencies and handling general questions from the audience.
- Live Audience Show "Warm-ups" to engage/educate audience to get ready for the show; this entails public speaking in front of about 100+ people.
- Post Show responsibilities include: exiting audience members, clean-up, and final checks.
- Communicate guest feedback received from the all QVC events.
- Work with high profile on-air Talent and QVC Senior Leadership and QVC Guests and Celebrities.
- Manage confidential materials.
- Help with ad hoc administrative tasks
- Support Corporate Events team according to social events calendar
What You Bring
- 1+ years experience with event set up and decor
- 1+ years experience communicating with guests and live audience for purposes of eliciting engagement and enthusiasm
- 1+ years experience coordinating with event managers
- 1+ years experience coordinating with security to ensure guest safety
- Comfort and experience lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort and experience standing for long periods of time
- Experience utilizing customer service skills to enhance guests experience
